The symbolism of doves and olive branches ( inspired from Stefani Germanotta's brooch at the Inauguration ) is intended to promote peace, mutual cooperation and harmony in the Institute, in similarity to our motto.
The placement and shapes of doves and olive branches in the center were constructed as a nod to our Institute. It resembles a similar shape as that of the iconic deepam in the IITM logo, in gestalt.
The logo nods to all elements of student governance enshrined in the constitution, nurturing which is the prime function of SECC. The 55 stars represent the 55 legislators of SLC and the 10 outer spokes represent the Executive council.
The draping design of the boundaries was inspired from logos of other judicial entities.
